RIVERFEST 2011

PARADE

JUNE 11 6 PM

The parade is hosted by the Glasgow Lifesaving and First Aid Crew, and is coordinated by Larry Spangler (540-258-2313), who also runs their Glasgow Christmas parade.

Line up begins at 5 PM. Free to enter! Categories are to the right, same as last year.

The THEME is

RIVER LOVERS

This year we are hosting a Salute to Pastors, and invite all area churches to honor their own.

KIDS on BIKES:

We are also hosting a special section of the parade - KIDS on BIKES! ANY kid can enter for FREE! Sign in at the GLFAC Squad Building at 710 McCulloch St., then go around the corner to the Glasgow Library to decorate your bike and learn some bike safety! Trophies and participation ribbons for all!
