CAKE WALK II JUNE 3, & PM OPENS AT 6 PM This year we will be located in the AIR CONDITIONED gym at the: NATURAL BRIDGE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL LIVE ON STAGE : COUNTRY FRIENDS Bluegrass Band ADMISSION: $5 per adult, age 12+ $1 per child, under 12, A STREAMLINED REGISTRATION PROCESS, approved by Guinness World Records, will help us move everyone into the gym on time. We will begin promptly at 7 PM, so you MUST be inside the gym, paid and ready, by that time. There will be 10 official walks, with a cake awarded at the end of each round of walking. On the 10th walk, we will award a special custom cake, and that person is declared our official winner! If we have 251 people participating (or more) in the official 10 walks, we will apply to Guinness World Records and will be notified of our official approval in about one to two months. A press release will be made when we recieve the news! After the 10 official walks, we will then hold more walks until all our cakes have been awarded! CAKE DONATTIONS will be happily accepted after 4:30 PM at the GYM up to the event starting time. The Glasgow Lifesaving and First Aid Crew Auxiliary will be selling hot dogs, chips and drinks all evening. |
